Responsibilities: The Pet Training Consultant position
is an entry-level position. The Consultant trains the dog and
its owner to adapt to the pet containment system. The Pet Training
Consultant returns to the customer's home over a period of two
weeks to reinforce the pet's understanding of the new boundaries,
to provide the customer with guidance, answer any questions, and
to measure the pet's progress. Pet Training Consultants work independently
to complete tasks but are members of small teams reporting to
working managers.
Qualifications: Those working in this position must possess
strong customer care and dog-handling skills, as they are the
front line customer contact position within the Company. Candidates
should greatly enjoy working with dogs and enjoy the outdoors
(at all times of the year). Each Pet Training Consultant undergoes
an extensive training and testing period to acquire the skills
necessary to be successful at the job.
Compensation: The Pet Training Consultant is paid hourly
and incentives can be earned. First year income potential is between
$33,000 and $40,000, depending on overtime worked and incentives
earned.
